Applications - Workshops
To keep everyone happy and to be able to use the full workshop area, comfortable evenly heated draft free conditions are required. Workshops often have limited wall space so the ceiling mounted or suspended CUHW Workshop Heaters give an ideal solution. The vertical airflow gives an added benefit of de-stratification leading to a more energy efficient use of heated air. The fan can be run independantly to give air circulation in summer. For lower ceiling units CUH Heavy Duty unit heaters can also be wall mounted with horizontal airflow. The higher standards of insulation for new build and refurbishment generally means less heat input is required. The addition of CDF De-Stratification Fan units will supplement the heater airflows to ensure adequate air movement for even heating. They can also be used for de-stratification with any heat source.
To heat a small area within a large volume building, such as an intermittently used work station or packing bench, warm air heating is generally not feasible. CQIR Quartz Infra Red Heaters give concentrated and directional heat which is independant of air movement, they are instantaneous in response so can be switched on and off on demand. They provide an efficient solution for a difficult application.
