Applications - Reception Areas

An entrance door heater gives both welcoming warmth and, by creating an air barrier, conserves the building’s heat. The ODH Over Door Heater range, available with light grey, brushed stainless steel or textured copper bronze finish is surface mounted above the door. The RDH Recessed Door Heater range is purpose designed for recess mounting and is supplied complete with grille and remote switch.

Reception

Entrance lobbies and stairwells are often high volume spaces and have high air changes created by frequent door opening. Effective heating can only be achieved with high capacity heaters with high air flows such as the CCH Cabinet heaters. The alternative is a larger number of smaller heaters such as the CQAC fan forced wall heaters, CHDA Architectural fan forced wall heaters or CWC Recessed fan heaters.

Large expanses of glazing can be prone to condensation and producing an uncomfortable down draft of cold air. This can be counteracted by installing CFD Floor drop in fan heaters; CFS Floor level convectors or possibly CFT Heavy duty finned tubular heaters at the bottom of the window.

The reception desk in a large entrance area is a difficult place to heat comfortably. The small sized CWC fan heater, surface or recess mounted, or the CCB kick space heater can be incorporated into the desk/counter design providing localised heat.
