Applications - Offices
To be comfortable, offices need to be warm and draft free, with localised control to allow conditions to be set to suit the occupants. Electric heating has easy installation and easy control.
Individual offices are best heated with noiseless natural convectors or quiet fan heaters such as the CFS Floor Level Convector Heaters or the CHDA Architectural Fan Forced wall heaters.
In an open plan office requiring a greater air circulation CCH Cabinet heaters, CQAC fan forced wall heatersor CHDA Architectural fan forced wall heaters can be used. If wall space is at a premium the small CWC Recessed fan heaters can be installed on pillars or the CFD Floor drop in fan heaters at suitable positions in the floor.
With suitable controls the combination of convector heaters and fan heaters can give a good heating solution. The fan heaters and convectors are used for initial heat up. Once the required comfort level is achieved, with the added heat input from people and office machines, the noiseless convectors provide the base heating for most of the day. The fan heaters “topping up” during cold spells.
